Always more
With so many great web tools out there, it is difficult to decipher what is useful in the classroom and what is not. All of the tools used today can easily be incorporated into a class setting. I am a huge fan of google docs and will continue to use it with my classes.Jing is usable as is wiki.Diigo seems to be similar to Delicious. I have used delicious in my classroom, but never found a solid use for it that the students would buy into. Hopefully networking with the class and Glen will help fill this gap.

I wonder if Richard's Reliable Resources is wondering why he is getting so many people linking to his blog. :>)
ReplyDeleteI hope that once we look at a few more of the features of Diigo, other possibilities will present themselves. I like the way annotations and sticky notes can be attached to resources.
What is Jing again? Is it like a wiki?
ReplyDeleteJing is an online caption capability that allows you to capture a video of what you are doing and share it with others. It is great when trying to demonstrate something in the classroom. Instead of doing the demonstration you can discuss what is going on while the class is watching it.
